Modern paraffin candles are very often produced in ready-made candlesticks, which prevent the paraffin from flowing out when melted. But it is worth blowing hard on such a candle, as a paraffin stain forms on furniture or carpet.

Instructions

Step 1

If you find yourself in a similar situation, you should not immediately try to clean the paraffin - by doing so, you will only increase the area of the stain and complicate your task. Better to let the paraffin cure completely, and only then get down to business.

Step 2

Cured wax can be easily removed from hard wood, metal, plastic and other surfaces. For cleaning, use a flat object such as a CD to scrape off the wax without damaging the surface. After most of the paraffin has been removed, the residue can be slightly heated with a hair dryer and collected with a paper towel.

Step 3

If paraffin is spilled on a fabric or carpet, then after hardening, you need to break it into small pieces with your fingers and try to carefully separate it from the fabric or carpet pile. You should not use force, try to pull out the hardened mass - this can ruin the thing.

Step 4

After separating the main part of the paraffin stain, attach a paper towel to the remains and place a slightly heated iron on top. The paraffin will melt and absorb into the soft paper. The main thing is not to overdo it and not burn anything. If the first attempt to master the paraffin was not successful, try several more times until you achieve the result.
