Necessary

  • - warm water;
  • - nail polish remover;
  • - dimexide.

Instructions

Step 1

Stationery glue is the most harmless type of glue that exists. Therefore, stains after it are easiest to remove.

Step 2

If a drop of glue gets on your favorite item, remove the bulk of it first. To do this, place the affected clothing in the freezer for several hours. After the glue is firmly frozen, scrape off the hardened glue with a knife.

Step 3

Then proceed to remove the consequences. Soak the garment for half an hour in warm water, and then wash using the normal wash cycle for this garment. Then take it out and dry it. When washing and soaking, do not use very hot water. Your fabric may not withstand this test yet and shed.

Step 4

If that doesn't work, use a nail polish remover. But only those that do not contain acetone. Pour a few drops onto the stain and let sit for 7-10 minutes. Then wash your clothes in a soapy solution. It should be noted that this substance should be used only on non-fading fabric, otherwise you can further spoil the damaged thing.

Step 5

The stain can also be removed with a product called Dimexidum (99%), which is sold in regular pharmacies. Soak a cotton swab well with it and blot the stain with it, then wash the clothes. It will do a great job with glue and will not ruin the fabric. The only precaution is not to open it without rubber gloves on your hands, otherwise you can get burns on your skin.

Step 6

Seeing a drop of stationery glue on your clothes, do not waste time. The sooner you start removing it, the more likely you are to completely get rid of the ugly stain.

Step 7

Be careful when working with the glue next time. For example, wear old clothes that you won't mind getting dirty and throwing away. Or, cover your knees and sleeves with some kind of cloth to avoid splashing glue on them.
