Country houses usually have their own independent water supply and heating systems, so owners must independently be able to maintain the infrastructure of their own home.

Instructions

Step 1

Each house has its own individual heating system and in most cases, the design solution takes into account the independent drainage of water, but there are exceptions and simply "hack work" of the system installers (for example, pipes can go at or below the floor level), in which you have to intervene the process of draining water in order to avoid its freezing in the system and, accordingly, the failure of the latter. To do this, be sure to purchase a compressor and a receiver, which you use after the natural drainage of water in order to purge the systems and remove residues.

Step 2

When buying a compressor, consider the size of the heating system, pipe diameters, depending on which specialists will select a compressor of a certain power and a receiver of the required volume.

Remember that the volume of the receiver should be approximately 3 times the volume of water in your system.

Step 3

Be sure to check with a specialist how many branches your system includes and how many drain taps it has. For greater efficiency, blow each branch of the system separately, otherwise, due to the increasing cross-section, the air velocity in some places may not be enough, or purchase a more powerful receiver right away.

Step 4

Remember that even with a compressor, you may not be able to blow out all the moisture completely! In this case, it makes sense to fill in antifreeze, which will already give 100% confidence that in the next warm season you will not have to think about repairing the heating / water supply system.
