Timely and adequate change of the environment gives a positive psychotherapeutic effect. And for this it is not at all necessary to leave somewhere - it is enough to rearrange the furniture in the room. However, you may need to relocate the outlet to another location.

Preparatory work

Before directly dealing with dismantling and installation, decide on the location of the new location of the outlet. Prepare the necessary tools: screwdriver, knife, pliers. To lay a new route, a chasing cutter is used, however, due to the small amount of work, you can do with improvised gouging tools - a chisel and a hammer are suitable. Within the room space, the distances over which it is necessary to carry the outlet are small. In this case, the supply electric wire is either shortened, or, conversely, it must be increased. In this case, you will need a piece of wire of the corresponding section and made of the same metal.

Before starting work with electricity, turn off the power switch of the outlet group on the dashboard or completely turn off the power supply to the apartment. Ensure that no one can accidentally turn it on!

Dismantling and installing the socket in a new place

Disassemble and disconnect the outlet. Determine how, from which side the power cable comes to it and how it is more convenient to redirect it to the new location (it is good for these purposes to have a device for finding hidden wiring). If the transfer is to be directed towards the junction box, make a penetration in the new place to the wire, cut it, strip it, and install the socket. Plaster the previous location, and the wire can be left in the wall.

If the new position of the outlet is away from the old route, grind a section to it from the old place. Reinforce the outlet. Connect a piece of a similar wire to it of the required length, lay it in the channel and connect it with the old wire by twisting. Insulate carefully to avoid contact with the solution. Plaster.

Electric socket

The transfer and installation of the socket to which the electric stove is connected requires special attention. Firstly, they are designed to work with increased current load. If the old outlet gives you distrust - it is burnt, cracked or chipped - it must be replaced.

Buy a dedicated 32-amp socket. The usual ones you put on for lighting and radio equipment will not work. It is fire hazardous!

Depending on your preferences, the socket can be installed external or internal, built into the wall. The latter is more compact, but will require additional efforts for gouging and equipment in the wall for space for it.
