Necessary

  • - cleaning agent;
  • - rubber suede brush;
  • - gasoline;
  • - salt, semolina;
  • - ammonia.

Instructions

Step 1

Buy a spray to clean stubborn dirt, available at leather clothing stores. Buy a rubber bristle brush and a special stone for greasy areas there. Spray on, and after a few minutes scrub the dirty areas with a brush. If it is heavily soiled, repeat the procedure.

Step 2

Use a vertical steamer. Use a pumice stone or fine emery paper to lift the nap, and then blow hot steam over the areas that are covered. Then gently loosen the pile again and steam the stain again. Be careful not to deform or shrink the product. Do not rub too hard, the lint may be damaged. You can use a rubber brush or hard foam rubber instead of a skin.

Step 3

Dilute one part ammonia in four parts water. Wipe the desired areas lightly, avoiding excessive moisture. After that, rinse with clean water and moisten with vinegar solution (1 teaspoon of essence per liter of water). Dry the jacket gently on a towel, straightening out any wrinkles. Perform this procedure first on a small area of the jacket and evaluate the result.

Step 4

Peel the greasy areas with cut raw potatoes. Once dry, go over with a stiff brush. Also, greasy dirt can be cleaned well with semolina. Spread the item on the floor, sprinkle with cereals and rub in a circular motion. Change the semolina as it gets dirty. After processing, shake off the rump and brush over the jacket.

Step 5

Moisten greasy areas on the collar or sleeves and treat them with ammonium carbonate. Wash off the foam that appears after a few minutes with warm water.

Step 6

Dampen shiny and greasy areas with clean gasoline (for lighters), then add a thin layer of fine salt and scrub with a rubber sponge or stiff brush. After processing, shake off the salt, and brush over the jacket again.
