The plant is a well-leafy bush with numerous thin and soft branches of a grayish-green color. The leaves are very small (2 - 3 cm), pale green, whitish on the underside, dense and rather leathery, oval pointed in shape. Under favorable conditions, the hoya grows quickly and soon takes an ampelous shape: each shoot ends with a drooping flower umbrella, which consists of 6-8 original, as if molded from wax, pure white flowers with a pink crown in the center.

The plant blooms in summer, although flower stalks are formed in winter, but they usually fall off due to lack of lighting. Only 1, 5-2 months after the formation of peduncles, drooping flowers open.

Strongly overgrown hoyis often carry up to 50-60 or more umbrellas with hundreds of fragrant flowers, with a wonderful, unobtrusive smell.

In indoor conditions, the hoya requires a well-lit place, but it cannot be placed in direct sunlight either. At the same time, the flower feels great in dry room air and does not even need to be sprayed. The plant has a small and weak root system, so it must be grown in shallow (10-12 cm) pots, planting 2 stems in them. The soil should not be heavy and dense, it is better to make it up from leafy soil, greenhouse humus and coarse sand. Hoya can be transplanted twice a year.

Watering should be done with warm water and very sparingly. The plant does not tolerate stagnant water, the roots rot from this. There must be drainage at the bottom of the pot. However, the earthen coma should not be allowed to dry out. In the summer, during the period of active growth, it is useful to feed the plant with mineral fertilizer for indoor flowers once every two weeks.
