Before we start feeding tomatoes with yeast, let's figure out what gives the culture watering with a yeast composition. The yeast contains nutrient components for plants, but it is not because of them that the seedlings are fed with this type of fertilizer. The main effect of yeast is that it creates ideal conditions in the soil for the life of microorganisms that process organic matter. That is, thanks to such top dressing, the process of splitting organic matter is greatly accelerated, and the plants easily get the nitrogen, potassium and other substances they need so much during the growing season. For example, it takes a lot of time to see the result of making an ash top dressing on tomatoes - from a week or more, while adding a yeast mixture speeds up the process by about two times, that is, after three or four days you can notice the acquisition of a more saturated shade of foliage, the appearance of new ovaries …

Now with regard to the preparation of the composition itself and its use. The classic one is the easiest to prepare. To create it, 100 grams of yeast is required (it is better to use the product in briquettes), pour three liters of water at 30-35 degrees, then add 100 grams of sugar and ferment in a warm place for two to three hours. After the specified time, you can start watering the tomatoes (or other crops in the garden). In order not to harm the seedlings, it is advisable to dilute the composition in half with water and pour no more than two liters of top dressing under each bush (this is the maximum amount per bush).

Fertilizer should be applied no more than three times per season - during the period of active growth of seedlings at home before planting in the ground, immediately after a week after planting the seedlings in a permanent place and during the formation of ovaries. Naturally, the amount of the poured composition at each stage should be different - from 0.5 to 2 liters, depending on the height and splendor of the bushes.
