Necessary

  • - colorless liquid soap;
  • - white cotton fabric;
  • - blotting paper;
  • - vinegar;
  • - ammonia;
  • - salt;
  • - ethanol.

Instructions

Step 1

Avoid washing removable covers and upholstery fabrics in the washing machine or drying them with a hair dryer. If the manufacturer recommends machine or hand wash the product, use liquid colorless soap or neutral powder. The water temperature should not exceed 30 ° C. Choose a gentle streak mode and a short spin mode.

Step 2

If, according to the care instructions, the product can be ironed, turn on the steamer on the iron. Iron the fabric through a white cotton cloth.

Step 3

Do not vacuum the fabric too often, as the finest lint in the upholstery is absorbed with the dust. As a result, it loses its density and ceases to retain the filler.

Step 4

When using the stain remover, do not pump it directly onto the upholstery fabric, but place a piece of fine cloth. Remember that the composition must be free of bleaches and color corrosive substances. Test the stain remover on an inconspicuous area of the upholstery before use. Do not use multiple stain removers at the same time.

Step 5

After processing the upholstery, let the furniture dry naturally by blotting the damp area with a napkin. Choose cleaning methods for upholstery fabrics depending on the type of dirt. Try to remove it as quickly as possible, preventing its penetration into the tissue structure.

Step 6

If candle wax gets on the fabric, after it hardens, crush it, gently scrape it off and vacuum up. Cover the dirty area with absorbent paper and iron with an iron.

Step 7

Wash coffee stains with soapy water and blot. To remove traces of beer, blot the cloth with a wet soapy rag. Then dissolve 2 tablespoons of vinegar in a liter of water and apply the resulting solution to the contaminated area. Rinse with clean water, pat dry with a dry cloth.

Step 8

Remove blood stains with cold water. Wash white wine with a solution of ¼ water and 3/4 ethyl alcohol. After drying, wash with soap and water. To remove traces of fruit juice, apply a mixture of vinegar and ammonia to the cloth and let dry. If red wine spills on the upholstery, blot it immediately and sprinkle salt on the contaminated area. After a while, rinse with warm water.
