An electric garland on the window will decorate both the interior of the room and the window from the outside. Mysteriously flickering lights will make the room cozy, create a romantic atmosphere and a sense of celebration.

It is necessary

  • - electric garlands;
  • - candles;
  • - hearts or snowflakes;
  • - natural or artificial flowers.

Instructions

Step 1

For a romantic evening, decorate the window simply but effectively. Draw up the tulle curtains. Sew a thin single garland of small LED pads along the edge of the curtains with large stitches with thread matched to the fabric. Depending on the width and height of the window, you may need two or three garlands. Choose models with bulbs of the same color - they will look more decorative. Attach small shiny hearts suspended by thin threads to the cornice - they will shine beautifully in the light of the lamps.

Step 2

For New Years or Christmas celebrations, try another option. Tighten the entire window with a mesh garland, securing it to the eaves and near the windowsill. Weave a thick cord of silver tinsel and artificial spruce branches and lay it on the cornice, hanging around the edges. Use the same smaller cords to tie the curtains so that they form nice folds. Place a composition of red and white candles and small silver Christmas tree balls on the windowsill.

Step 3

Try another version of New Year's decor. Prepare several dozen small quilling snowflakes. Attach them to thin lines or threads and hang them on the cornice at different heights. Lay a small garland along the windowsill near the glass. Roll another one up and place it inside a clear round glass vase and set it over the window.

Step 4

Vintage garlands with large lanterns will perfectly complement the retro-style furnishings. Disguise the electrical cord with white or colored silk tape wrapped neatly over the wires. Reinforce the garland on the cornice so the lanterns are at different heights. Place antique lanterns with candles inside and vintage stuffed toys on the windowsill.

Step 5

Garland is also useful for creating a summer mood. Choose a model with light bulbs in the form of flowers, butterflies or dragonflies of different colors. Attach some garlands to the ledge so that they hang vertically and reach the floor. Decorate the curtains with large natural or artificial flowers attached in different places, and place bouquets in vases on the windowsill.
