It is necessary

  • - cleaning, detergents for dishes;
  • - sponge;
  • - iron brush;
  • - soda;
  • - salt;
  • - river sand.

Instructions

Step 1

The small cast iron cauldron can be washed in the dishwasher using a special dishwasher detergent. The washing method is pretty simple. Thoroughly remove all food residues, place the container in the specially designated compartment, turn on the dishwasher, and after the end of the program, get a clean cauldron.

Step 2

The washing procedure becomes much more complicated if you used a real cauldron of 100-150 liters, which was installed on a tripod and cooked over an open fire. With this method of cooking, you will have to wash not only the inner surface of a huge cast-iron container, but also the outer one, which will be heavily smoked.

Step 3

To wash the cauldron, you can use modern cleaning and detergents, or use baking soda, salt, river sand, which will help you cope with washing as well. But it will take much longer.

Step 4

Cast iron can be cleaned with an iron brush as it is not prone to scratching. If you plan to clean the cauldron quickly enough, use a dish detergent and detergent. If the food in the cast iron container is burnt, sprinkle any cleaning agent on the bottom or add a cleaning gel, pour water, bring to a boil, after 20 minutes you can easily cope with dirt.

Step 5

Clean the outer part of the cauldron using the same products. After that, you just have to thoroughly rinse the container with water and dry it.

Step 6

If you've cooked outdoors and don't have modern cleaning products with you, use river sand, salt, or baking soda. To easily wash the cauldron inside, pour sand, salt or soda into it, add water, boil, after a few hours rinse thoroughly inside with a brush or sponge. Clean the outer part with the specified means, rinse thoroughly, dry.
