After thinning, the plants are fed with nitrogen fertilizers and a solution of mullein, chicken droppings. The plants are harvested at a height of 10-15 cm. If you sow mustard in the fall, it will serve as a good remedy for the wireworm that damages the potatoes.

Step 3

Salad mustard is also grown at home, sowing in shallow boxes with a light soil mixture. After 10-12 days, the leaves are ready to eat. Mustard is popular not only for its taste and useful qualities, but also as a fertilizer for the soil. It enriches the soil with organic matter, phosphorus and sulfur, and also disinfects it.
