In our country, it is customary to decorate a room with rain on the eve of the new year. Lit with garland lights in the evening or sunbeams in the morning, this decoration gives the house a special atmosphere of celebration and joy.

It is necessary

  • - rain;
  • - stationery buttons;
  • - white threads;
  • - scissors.

Instructions

Step 1

To make the room look especially beautiful, hang rain on the windows. If your curtains are held on small hooks, carefully attach the threads of rain to them. It is better to do this not on every hook, but after a few, so that the window can also be seen. If the curtains are held on a round cornice, just hang the rain through it, securing it with a knot in the middle.

Step 2

Decorate the walls and ceiling with rain. Insert small pushpins into the corners of the ceiling and pull two white threads over them so that they cross in the middle of the ceiling. Then hang the rain on the strings. In this case, the distance between the rain should be 5 cm.

Step 3

Create stars on the walls. Take the longest string of rain and lay out an asterisk of any size, securing the rain with thin strips of transparent tape. But this should only be done on the walls without wallpaper.

Step 4

Give your chandelier a festive look. Hang a string of rain on it so that they intersect at the top and hang down from all sides at the bottom. The more it rains, the more elegant it will turn out. After that, the ends can be left hanging just like that, or you can tie them with a thread of rain into a bundle. Thus, the chandelier will have a kind of festive cap that will shimmer beautifully when the light is on.

Step 5

Make bouquets out of rain. To do this, take a whole bunch of rain and place it with the tied end in a nice little vase. It is advisable that it was not a transparent vase, but a matte one-color vase. Then cut the strands of rain at a distance of 5-10 cm from the tied edge. And fluff the leftovers in such a way that the bunch with rain begins to resemble a bouquet of colored threads. Arrange vases with such bouquets around the room.
