Milk contains a number of substances that limit the development of fungal spores. This allows you to fight powdery mildew - a parasitic fungal disease. Also, milk is used in the form of sprays to strengthen the immune system of plants. You can also use it when preparing Bordeaux liquid for its better adhesion (sticking to the plant).

It is necessary

  • - garden sprayer;
  • - a container for the preparation of solutions, you can have a bucket.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare an antifungal milk solution.

Prepare the solution just before use. Mix 1 volume of semi-skimmed milk (2.5% fat) and 9 volumes of pure water. Always use this proportion: not enough milk is ineffective, too much milk can cause other plant diseases.

Step 2

Use an anti-powdery mildew solution.

You can use the milk solution on all plants susceptible to powdery mildew, namely:

- garden plants (tomatoes, cucumbers, pumpkins, strawberries, etc.);

- fruit trees and shrubs;

- roses, rhododendrons, delphiniums, begonias, etc.

Preventive treatment - spraying with a spray bottle once a month.

Medical treatment - spraying with a spray bottle once a week until complete recovery.

As with any natural treatment, spraying with milk is effective at the onset of the disease.

Step 3

Using milk to bind Bordeaux liquid.

Bordeaux liquid is a well-known antifungal drug. Mix 1 volume of semi-skimmed milk (2.5% fat) and 10 volumes of Bordeaux liquid. This solution "lies" better on the plant.

Step 4

Stimulate the growth of your pumpkins.

For larger fruits, water your pumpkin once a week with one liter of root milk.

Step 5

Improve the flowering of geraniums. Add a few drops of milk when watering the geranium. It will bloom more luxuriantly.
