Convenient seedling cups can be made from an ordinary plastic bottle. To do this, we cut off the upper and, attention (!), The lower parts from the bottle, we do not need them. We cut the middle part of the bottle body in half so that we get two cup rings without a bottom. Outwardly, our cups resemble a kind of hollow cylinder.

The height of the cylinder-cup can be 10-12 cm at your discretion. This amount of land will be quite enough for the growth and development of the plant at the initial stage.

We put the resulting cups on a tray or place them in another container with a high side. We fill each cup with soil. Due to the fact that our cups are made of rather soft bottle plastic, you can put them tightly, pressing them together. This will save space on the windowsill.

The next step is to thoroughly warm the soil in the microwave. It is enough to place containers with earth in the microwave and turn it on for 6-7 minutes. This is done in order to destroy harmful microorganisms and spores that can damage the plant.

We plant the seeds in the cooled soil. You can plant one seed in each cup. We water the seedlings through a tray: dry soil itself will absorb the required amount of moisture.

And the main trick! When the time comes to plant seedlings in the ground, we press on the glass and easily take out our plant along with the earthen layer. The earth ball is intact and the roots are not damaged. Since with this method of transplantation, the root system will not be damaged - the seedlings will better take root in a new place.

These cups are easy to store. They will help you out next year as well. But if there is no storage space, then it is not a pity to throw them away!
