It is necessary

screwdriver, tweezers, spatula, knife, Moment glue, adhesive plaster

Instructions

Step 1

Remove the refrigerator door, lay it horizontally and carefully cut the old seal where it meets the base of the door.

Step 2

Remove the old seal around the entire perimeter of the door. To do this, slightly lift the seal and gently pull it out of the groove. Use a spatula when working and be careful not to damage the refrigerator door.

Step 3

Separate the inside of the door from the foamer. This is done so that there is space for a new seal. The depth of the slot must match the thickness of the new profile. For easier handling, lift the corner of the inside of the door and hold it with your thumb.

Step 4

Continue to cut the seal around the entire perimeter of the inner door to a depth of about 6 mm.

Step 5

When you have finished removing the seal, insert the tweezers in and pull the old seal out until you can see the outer edge of the resulting empty groove.

Step 6

If you've done it right all the time, you will be able to pull out the seal along its entire length. If the seal was damaged during operation or during removal, repeat the entire procedure, starting from another corner of the door.

Step 7

After completely removing the used seal and freeing up the necessary space above the groove, fix the new seal in its place with a solid spike. If this operation causes you difficulty, additionally remove the remains of the foamer from the gap between the outer and inner parts of the door.

Step 8

In the event that the refrigerator is not new and you cannot find the appropriate seal on it, try to fit the one that you have to fit. The main thing is that it should be slightly larger than the required size. Cut one piece from the seal from the vertical and horizontal parts and join the resulting parts together. Coat the joints with Moment glue or glue with adhesive tape.
