Instructions

Step 1

Depending on the type of stains on the ceiling, there are different ways to remove them. Consider a case when the apartment has not yet been renovated.

Step 2

Take a spatula and carefully clean off pieces of paint, wallpaper or putty from the problem area. Pour "Whiteness" into a bowl. put on rubber gloves and grab a sponge. Soak it in White, then squeeze lightly. Start treating the stain. To do this, apply foam rubber to the area where there is yellowness. and hold for a few seconds, then move the sponge to another place, having previously moistened it in "Whiteness". After several applications, wet it again and squeeze a little. Treat the entire stain in this way. Gradually, you will see how the bottom layer of the sponge turns dark yellow. Replace it with a new one and work on the stain until it lightens slightly.

Step 3

Wait for the ceiling to dry. If the spot becomes light, then the work is completed. If you notice that the yellow color is still breaking through, then you need to repeat the operation again. If rust spots appear on the ceiling, then apply a primer to the problem area, consisting of a 10% solution of copper sulfate.

Step 4

To remove yellow oil stains from the ceiling, first remove all dust and dirt from the contaminated area. Apply deep penetration soil. Wait for it to dry. Pour paint into a container, dampen the roller and paint over the stain. If it was not possible to paint the problem area with a roller, then cover the stain with a brush. Wait for everything to dry. If you notice that the yellow area is showing through, apply a few more coats of paint until the stain is painted over. After a few days, you can start repairing the ceiling.

Step 5

Use oil paint to remove yellow stains on a freshly painted ceiling. Paint over the stain in several layers. After painting, the stained area may shine and slightly differ from the rest of the ceiling color. Paint over the glossy paint with the one you originally painted the entire ceiling with. Apply it in several layers until the shine disappears.
