A pen, which is in the pocket of a jacket or bag at the right time, can be of indispensable help. With this writing tool, you can easily sign documents, write down important information, or simply brighten up the anticipation by guessing crosswords or puzzles. But, despite all the usefulness of the pen, it can cause stains on clothes. Ordinary detergents are not suitable for removing the marks from the handle: such contamination must be washed with the help of special substances.

It is necessary

  • - soda,
  • - ammonia,
  • - glass,
  • - lemon juice,
  • - gasoline,
  • - laundry soap,
  • - cotton pads,
  • - white cloth.

Instructions

Step 1

If you stain the fabric with a ballpoint pen, use one of the following: a glass of ammonia and a teaspoon of baking soda, lemon juice, acetone, or ethyl alcohol. Prepare warm milk to remove handle stains from leather goods.

Step 2

Then remove dust from the thing and drip a little of the product of your choice on an inconspicuous part of it: on a seam or a spare piece of material, which is sometimes sewn on the wrong side. Make sure that the clothing in the areas of exposure to the composition does not fade.

Step 3

Turn garment inside out to remove stain from fabric. To get rid of pen marks on other types of materials, carry out all the actions on the front side.

Step 4

Place a white cloth under the stain. Then saturate a cotton pad with the selected composition and process the fabric, moving from the surrounding fabric to the very center of the pollution. This technique will prevent the stain from blurring.

Step 5

After removing the stain, wash clothes thoroughly from the substance used and rinse, and wipe leather items with a cotton pad moistened with water.

Step 6

Use gasoline soap to remove pen stains from wool or silk garments. To do this, first grate half a bar of laundry soap on a coarse grater. Then pour 500 ml of water into a saucepan and boil it.

Step 7

Then reduce the heat and, stirring continuously, add the grated soap to the water. Stir the resulting solution until the soap is completely dissolved.

Step 8

If in the process of the disappearance of the soap pieces some amount of liquid has evaporated, then add the required amount of water to replenish the previous volume. Turn off the heat and remove the pot from the stove while continuing to stir the liquid soap.

Step 9

After the prepared product has cooled down a little, pour a glass of gasoline and warm water into it. To remove traces of writing paste, wash your woolen or silk item in a concentrated solution of the resulting gasoline soap.
